Look Who's Twelve!

Time is flying by....

Hannah celebrated her twelfth birthday a few weeks ago. She wanted to start her day with the new Mexican, not New Mexican like New Mexico but new like a new restaurant (Comacho's)....anyway, she wanted to eat at the new Mexican restaurant inside the Aliante Station Casiono which no longer serves lunch.....bummer....so, we went for her second choice, Wild Buffalo Wings. ya know...those girls have to start picking a new place to eat. Our birthday pictures are beginning to look the same....messy faced, wing eatin' blonde haired girls.

Thank you to Kelly, the waitress who bought ice cream to Hannah while singing "Happy Birthday." I extra appreciate it because she got in trouble for doing it. Apparently, the manager said it is prohibited due to copyright laws and he was completely freaked out. Sorry, Kelly! But Hannah liked it, despite the slight flush of embarassment!

After lunch we came home to 100 degree weather which meant breaking out the humungo waterslide. And of course, our 'new daughter", Tali, was here. Thanks to Abby's complete adoration for Tali, Abby was convinced by Tali to tgo to the top of the slide and went down for the first time!

Hannah LOVES, LOVES, LOVES Edward Cullen so we decided to play a prank by buying her a "Team Jacob" bag, knowing her best friend would happily take it in her place. (and besides, Tali's birthday was fast approaching. We also gave her a t-shirt to match the bag). Ah, gotta love those "Twilighters."
